A Board Certified Orthodontist is a dentist who studied Orthodontics 4 more years (beyond the 6 years of the dentist degree) and passed both written and oral exams, done by a board of examiners who are among the best orthodontists in the country, which were assigned by the Ministry of Health to check the candidate's professional knowledge.
Wait... So how can I know if a dentist is a Board Certified Orthodontist?!....
Simply ask your doctor to see his Orthodontics Specialist license OR check if your doctor is registered as a specialist in the Ministry of Health's website.
